Every year on the 4th Thursday of November Thanksgiving is celebrated in the United States and Canada. In this day people give thanks for what they have while dining stuffed turkey and pumpkin pie. This year’s Thanksgiving was on the 25th.
Students from Colegio Durango wrote what they are grateful for in paper feathers and pasted them into a big Thanksgiving Turkey. Here are some of the things kids wrote:
“I am thankful for my parents and my toys” Leonardo Rojas 1st grade
“I am thankful for my family” Erick García 2nd grade
“I am thankful for having a home and a nice life” Carla Urdapilleta 4th grade
“I’m thankful for having a family who loves me” Saul Vargas 6th grade
“I am thankful because my parents love me, because I can go to school and because of my best friend” Raul García 7th grade
This activity was held to raise awareness in the students for all their blessings. We could read that all students are thankful for having a family who loves them, supports them and gives them the opportunity to study in a private school
So on behalf of all students:
